1975 Westerly Pageant for sale, with Yamaha serviced outboard, and a year old, German built dinghy (was £300) with no holes. Keel bolts were done by a previous owner at the Club. Lots of stuff on board, 4 good sails, two good deep cycle batteries etc.(as advertised by previous owner). Out of the water at Cramond Boat Club in Edinburgh, Scotland. Crane out for the other boats is October 4th so that would be a good time to have the boat craned onto a trailer or craned into the water to sail somewhere else to minimize costs. Selling because boat club won’t allow my 16 year old son to sail on his own from the club or use the Club without an adult and the Club doesn’t want me to keep the boat there. I can’t find another place to keep it since most yards don’t want a long-distance owner. We are in the USA and I thought it was a great way for my son to travel around Europe without having to cross the Atlantic to do it first as he loves sailing and traveling. The toilet and inboard were removed by the previous owner and it could do with a bit of freshening/updating if desired. I’m not sure what cooker is there or isn’t. The cushion covers were washed by the previous owner but the headliner is gone. It sailed last year and I was told by the previous owner that it was fine. I can give you a contact at the Cramond Boat Club to look at it as I can’t be there. I paid £700 for all of it. Hoping for a reasonable offer. Thank you.
