A bit premature maybe, but advance notice.
I’ll be removing my DV24 from my Fulmar in October/November and it’ll then be for sale. I’m replacing it with a Beta Marine BM25, mainly because I enjoy modifying my boat – lol.
It’s got a new alternator and belt, had an unnecessary top end rebuild during lockdown, a new anode and impellor at each service every year. The engine mounts are 5 years old. The exhaust downpipe (the bit where the water is injected) was replaced 3 years ago.
It’s not an Indian one from a lifeboat, it was purchased new in 1996 and has done low hours.
Control panel includes water temperature, oil pressure and volts gauges as well as the usual 3 light indicators.
Videos of it running are available and once removed it’ll be set up to run in my Stoke-on-Trent garage.
