During 2016 the boat underwent a programme of extensive refurbishments:

Keel bolts replaced.

New Iroko laminated tiller

New cockpits seats constructed from Iroko planks

New Cockpit seat cushions

New cockpit grating constructed from iroko

New rubbing band/strake constructed from Iroko

New laminated cockpit hatch constructed.

New cockpit tent constructed.

Due to a change of plans the owner, who lived on a quayside property in Kent moved away from the area and made the boat part of the property transaction. The new buyer of the property was not a sailor and did not use the boat.

The boat was resold in 2023 where further work was carried out to make her seaworthy.:

Cockpit drain seacocks replaced

Navigation light bulbs replaced

Wooden mounting block for tiller pilot installed.

60 years of paint stripped back from the deck and fresh coats of non-slip paint applied.

Non-slip matting applied to decks.

Outboard engine fuel system stripped and full service.

New 12-volt battery installed

Solar recharging panel installed.

Manual and electric bilge pumps

SAILS AND SPARS:

Wooden mast, gunter spar & boom. Stainless steel standing rigging. (Age unknown)

Gunter rigged mainsail with boom reefing and furling jib.

2 sets mainsail both are in good condition. Two jibs one old but useable other requires repair to the leech.

ENGINE:

Honda 10hp four stroke outboard engine (2005).  Unused from 2016 to 2023. Given a thorough overhaul 2023 to bring it back into service. Last full-service March 2025. Runs well.

External morse control to control speed and gears.

External fuel tank.

CABIN DETAILS:

The forepeak has two single berths and two quarter berths port and starboard.

Marine toilet between forward berths. Requires servicing but useable.

Galley camping Gaz single burner stove and a sink with hand pumped cold fresh water.

Good storage under berths and in cabinet.

Cabin interior was painted 2025

Anchor with chain.

Pulpit.

Tiller pilot.  (Raymarine ST1000. New 2023)

Original winches replaced with larger contemporary Tufnol winches with handles 2025

2 Metre inflatable dinghy.
