QuiteLife marine soundproofing sheets, 1000 x 600 x 32mm.
2 sheets.
4 layers.
First layer is a dense foam which isolates the rest of the material from the hull to eliminate sound transfer.
Next, a heavy sheet (containing lead I think) to absorb low frequencies.
A thick layer of dense foam to absorb most of the frequencies.
Finally, an aluminium reflective, easy to clean layer.
Fireproof to BS476 Part 6, 1998 and Part 7, 1971.
Water, diesel and petrol proof.
Bought from ASAP a few years ago during our yacht rebuild, used what we needed and these are surplus to requirements.
ASAP are selling a different brand at £66 per sheet, plus carriage. I’m selling at less than a quarter price.
ASAP advertise it as giving a 24dB sound reduction. We’ve launched our boat and it really does make a huge difference, much better than the foam we removed.
Heavy items, not the lightweight rubbish.
Collection from Stoke-on-Trent, Wrexham, Pwllheli or Fleet.
I travel extensively throughout the UK for work, so could agree to meet.
Will split if needed.
