Moon Haze is a much-enhanced Westerly Renown 31, fin-keel, centre-cockpit ketch, fitted for long-term, comfortable and safe cruising. British Registered, currently based on the Vilaine, in Southern Brittany, she has the benefit of being “Union Goods” and thus able to remain in the EU, permanently. Built in 1974, Moon Haze has been with the current owners for 34 years, who are reluctantly selling her, for health reasons.
Length 9.4m; beam 2.75m; draft 1.37m. Accommodation comprises: saloon, with galley; forward double cabin; heads compartment; hanging and wet lockers; separate aft cabin for stowage or two single berths. Beta 28hp diesel with Brunton Autoprop; Sidepower external bow thruster. Main and genoa both roller reefing; mizzen with sailstack. Hull epoxied and Coppercoated, with aluminium anodes for salt or fresh water.
Mains supply with AGM starter and domestic batteries; battery charger and solar panels; 12V inverter. Mains equipment includes: fan, hot-air heater, kettle, hair-dryer, toaster and coffee maker. Onboard wifi with range enhancer and router. All lights fitted with LED bulbs. Heads and galley extract fans.
