We have owned ‘Brighthelmstone’, our fin keeled 1978 Westerly 33, since 2012 and, in that time, we have lavished both time and money on her. Over £20k spent during our ownership. Here is a list of the things done and when:

Replaced both leisure batteries (2016)
‘Speedseal’ installed – quick access to impeller (2016)
Fully re-rigged (both standing and running) (2017)
Masts fully rewired (2017)
New VHF aerial installed with FM AM splitter for radio (2017)
Flexiteak in cockpit – professionally installed (2017)

Antifouled, prop painted and anodes replaced when required. Engine serviced and winterised annually.

She’s an extremely sturdy and spacious family cruiser. Completed the ARC in 90’s so many spares onboard.
We love her and as you see have put a lot of work into her. Only reason for sale being that we have bought my dad’s old boat (another Westerly), which is larger and full of memories for us.
