It had been my intention to do the Ark as a tag along & then covid came and now I have medical problems, which have got worse , hence the reason for sale . I was getting things up to spec for that. Note pictures taken before end of season lift out Please find below some of the work I did for Ark preparation .
1/ new main sail purchased from JECKELS sail maker, & because of Covid hardly used (aprox 2k) Still got old one for spare, Genoa 140% on furling, also have & A symmetric sail & storm jib, note main is on in mast furling 2/ new chain hoist, (aprox £1400) never used except for installation test, Chain Red White Blue 10 20 30 then 40 50 60 meters with black on the 5 then rope line .
3/ new fuel tank, Â fuel pipes & twin filter system, electric lift pump, pump, (entire fuel system )
4/ new battery charger, 2 solar panels (continuously trickle charge) & new battery bank with extra battery (now 5 in total) All lights changed to low battery usage new electric auto-helm system, new large screen plotter, depth, wind speed / direction and repeaters. new VHF and upper deck mice with extra speaker, replacement music radio
5/ All rigging replaced, wire & rope, shrouds stays sheets halyards every thing
6/ Gas changed to red propane from blue calor and complete system renewed , 2 large gas tanks
The tank is half full of new diesel, 90 litre’s I have a pontoon mooring at Wickor Marine, paid in full for next season, have spoken to Marina, will pass on as long as you fill out application, rowing boat, oars crutches, inflatable dingy (3/4man) & 2.3 outboard all come with it. Emergency inflating raft life jackets & flares (out of date)
The boat is at Portchester Wickor Marine , bottom painted new cutlass bearing sea cocks operated , engine serviced etc all the normal” she is ready to go”
She is fitted with wind vain steering , just been refurbished , new sail & rudder ( got old ones for spares )
She has done the ark twice before .Sail number 37
