Westerly Oceanquest AC (Aft Cockpit)
No, not the Centre Cockpit Oceanquest for people who like walking around their double bed; this is the Aft Cockpit Oceanquest, preferred by people who like sailing!
The Aft Cockpit Oceanquest has a larger saloon with two good sea berths when passage making, plus two further cabins and the convenience of two heads and shower compartments, all in 10.5 m LOA. The lower topsides have less windage for easier handling in confined spaces whilst the deeper cockpit provides more comfort and security for the crew.
Sea Quest Of Hamble is fin keeled and has been re-engined with a modern Volvo-Penta D1-30 driving a Brunton Autoprop H5 to deliver all the power you are ever likely to need, whilst the powered Lewmar windlass takes the effort out of anchoring.
Fitted with much additional safety and navigational equipment, she has full radio and instrumentation available at both the dedicated forward facing chart table and at the helm position, including integrated chart plotters overlaid with radar and AIS images for complete situational awareness.
Over 340Ah of battery storage can be maintained by both wind and solar as well as a powerful engine alternator and shore power.
Beautiful, easily maintained, ‘Flexiteek’ decks and a full cockpit enclosure mean that Sea Quest looks good in rain or shine while the extensive use of teak below decks, Eberspacher warm air heating in all the cabins and endless stowage space makes for comfortable living. And the small icebox incorporated in the fridge provides just enough ice cubes to make life pleasant.
