|Summer Cruise 2018|
The South West Group have been asked by the Association Committee to organise a cruise in the West Country. We can’t keep our lovely coast to ourselves so a small group of us are planning the event. Starting from Dartmouth on the weekend of 9th/10th June, it will finish at Falmouth on 21st.
It will be a ‘Hop on/Hop off’ cruise which, we hope, will suit members well. Details and registration form can be found in the link below. Put the date in your diary.

|Next Stop Glasgow - WOA AGM January 26th 2019|
The 2019 AGM is being held in the Golden Jubilee Conference Hotel, Clydebank, Glasgow.
Whilst the formal AGM business will take place during the day on Saturday 26th January, arrangements have been made for Members attending and traveling from afar to make a weekend of the trip.
For those staying at the Golden Jubilee Hotel on the Friday, a Burns themed evening and buffet meal is planned, reflecting the Anniversary of the birth of ‘Scotland’s Bard’. On the Saturday evening a Dinner and Ceilidh will take place at the hotel to enjoy some Scottish hospitality together.
Special rates have been negotiated for our group and a number of rooms have been reserved at the hotel, but if you have not already registered an interest in attending this event and plan to stay at this hotel, then please do so now by sending your contact details to to Ian Buchanan (see link below)
Further information is being sent those who have registered an interest.

|Westerly Owners' Association to link with Mayflower Marina at Southampton Boat Show
Plymouth's award-winning Mayflower Marina is to host the world's biggest boat owner group, the Westerly Owners' Association at the Southampton International Boat Show (Sept 11th-20th).
Though Westerly boats are no longer in production, around 12,000 can be found in UK waters and further afield. A significant number of their owners visit the show.
"The Association is a not-for-profit organisation so it cannot fund a show stand independently in the way that commercial organisations are able to," said WOA Commodore Andy Truscott.
"Mayflower kindly offered us stand space and we've been delighted to accept. It gives us a focal point where we can welcome many fellow owners of Westerly boats and it's also an ideal opportunity to recruit new members," he said.
