Full Membership: Open to those who own a Westerly yacht.
Associate Membership: Open to those who have previously owned a Westerly yacht or those who have expressed an interest in owning a Westerly. Following the 2018 EGM Associate Members are now entitled to a vote at AGMs and may serve on Committees.
Membership duration: All memberships run from January 1st until December 31st of the same year, regardless of joining or renewal dates. Subscriptions are therefore due on January 1st each year.
Amounts: For UK Members (with mailing address in the UK – includes Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Northern Ireland) the subscription rate is 15.00 pounds sterling annually.
For Overseas Members (with mailing address outside the UK – includes the Republic of Ireland) the subscription rate is 18.00 pounds sterling annually.
Please note that for Overseas Membership, there is a postage fee payable when joining the Association. The fee contributes towards the additional postage costs of sending New Member Packs overseas.
How to pay
Direct Debit: For ease of administration, and to save you an annual chore, Direct Debit is the preferred payment method.
By Credit/Debit Card or PayPal: You can also pay your subscription by Credit/Debit Card or PayPal via the WOA Shop (we cannot accept credit card transactions over the phone).
Cheque or Postal Order
You can pay by sterling cheque or postal order. Please ensure you make the amount payable to Westerly Owners’ Association. Please put your Order number on the back of the cheque or postal order. If you require a written receipt, please supply a Stamped Self Addressed Envelope.
Other payment methods
For overseas members who do not have access to a UK Bank Account we will accept a Sterling Bank Draft or, of course, you may pay for your membership by credit/debit card or PayPal at the WOA Shop. Unfortunately, we are not able to accept cheques drawn in Euros or other currencies, and IBAN payments only in exceptional circumstances, as your costs will be disproportionately high especially when compared to Credit Card and PayPal fees.

Please make sure you quote your order number (or if you have been a member before, your membership number) as reference, especially on electronic payments. It can be very difficult (sometimes impossible for more common names) to trace where the payment came from if there is either no reference or something that doesn’t mean anything to us!
