Osprey of Meon (1977) is a solid, safe boat, eager to sail. We love how she performs and her spacious light interior. We are selling because we’ve decided to travel more, not always by boat.
Current berth available until end 2024
Largely original and well-maintained, Osprey of Meon has had the following recent updates:
- Electric windlass
- Bow roller
- Delta anchor
- Fresh interior furnishings
- Shore power and circuit breaker
- LED lights in saloon, heads, forepeak
- Two batteries, one new in 2023
- Battery charger
- SIMRAD GPS chart plotter
- Wind instrument
In June 2023 she was anti-fouled and had a new anode
INTERIOR: clean and tidy with a lot of storage space. The table in the pics is a small version that doubles as a cockpit table. The extra space makes the saloon easy to move about in. The original large Westerly table and its fittings are included.
GALLEY: Neptune 2000 cooker with grill and oven in fair condition. Sink, cook box, cooker, new tap (original pump system). A work surfaces is created by lowering the lid over the cooker and the step comes in handy as an extra workbench.
CHART TABLE is on rollers so that it can be stowed away in the pilot berth when not in use.
DSC RADIO and CHART PLOTTERÂ in saloon.
SIMRAD GPS chart plotter and WIND INSTRUMENT in cockpit
FOREPEAK: storage under both sides of V berth. OPTIONAL EXTRA: double duvet and bedding specially made to fit V shape
LAVAC toilet
ENGINE: Volvo Penta 2003. Serviced 2023. Reliable starter in our experience, even after a long break. Easy access from the saloon and from the cockpit sole.
FUEL TANK, plastic, easy to check levels
SAILS: Good condition. Cleaned and service 2023. UV STRIP replaced on Genoa 2023. Stored flat and dry in winter.
LAZY JACKS and STACK PACK. New zipper on sail bag 2023.
