Joining Instructions:
- Copy the three addresses below and send an email to all of the administrators stating your name, boat name and mobile phone number. The email addresses are northwalesgroupchair@westerly-owners.co.uk, northwalesgroup@westerly-owners.co.uk, jmdibble@gmail.com
- In return, you will receive an email containing a link generated from WhatsApp which will allow you access to the group
- The link is only for your own use and should not be passed to others. It will therefore be refreshed on a regular basis.
The rules for using the group are as follows:
- The group is only to be used for organising and sharing information relating to cruising activity by North Wales members.
- Information about scheduled North Wales WOA cruises will be placed on the group by the organiser.
- Impromptu cruising activity can be placed on the group by any member wishing to cruise in company or meet fellow Westerly owners at a particular destination e.g. “I am leaving Conwy on Saturday heading for Porth Wen. Would anyone like to join me or meet me there?”.
- All posts should start with the boat name.
- It should not be used as a platform for people to sell or buy things.
- It should not be used for social media. That should be directed at Facebook, Twitter, etc.
- It should not be used for posting YouTube videos.
- Photographs taken while out cruising are always welcomed.
- Be polite and courteous to other members of the group. No hate speech, voicing of political opinions, personal attacks or belittlement of others will be tolerated. Offenders will be removed from the group.
